Solar cadastre: energy calculator for every house roof

“The sun powered cadastre is a proposal for each resident from the Unterallgäu and Memmingen who has a rooftop region.” This is the means by which District Administrator Hans-Joachim Weirather portrays the new on the weboffer, part of the project Energiewende Unterallgäu Nordwest and also on Memmingen and the entire Unterallgäu was expanded. The solar cadastre is available free of charge and indicates for each house roof which electricity yield can be achieved there with which number, type and placement of modules and when the system is economically viable. The online cadastral offer is based on laser scanner data obtained from an aircraft. This creates interactive maps for the Internet. The usable solar radiation and the individual shading situation from trees, superstructures or other buildings are also taken into account.
